Jesus Says Your Faith Must Produce Fruit

About Us
Pastors Rick and Nina Tidwell and their Family Founded the First Church in the History of Ponce Inlet, FL., in 2003. Together, they have dedicated their lives to serving Jesus by Teaching, Preaching and Demonstrating the Words of Jesus to Live by Faith, and how the Word of God teaches us that our Faith in Jesus must bear Fruit. The Bible tells us “The Just Shall Live by Faith” Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38, and that it is impossible to please God without Faith. The scriptures also tell us that we also please God by bearing Fruit: “That you might walk worthy of the Lord, in All Pleasing Him, Being Fruitful in Every Good Work…” Colossians 1:10. Jesus says Christians are going to have to bear fruit: Luke 3:9-11. So we see that not only does Living by Faith Please God – but also being Fruitful in Every Good Work. Paul confirms what Jesus says in Titus 3:8,14, Maintain Good Works that You be Not Unfruitful.
The Christian is to Live by Faith, Be Fruitful on Good Works, and all is summed up in Love: God is Love. They that Love is born of God and Knows God, those that do not Love do Not know God for God is Love. 1 John 4:7,8. Faith works by Love, Galatians 5:6, and living a Life of bearing Fruit is a manifestation of that Love. Matthew 25:31-46 shows us what being Fruitful looks and acts like.

Faith Works by Love
In 2023 God called Pastor Rick back to Faith, right here in Pennsylvania, While shopping in the Belle Vernon Walmart. That moment marked the beginning of a radical transformation in his life. His heart changed, his words changed, even the way he saw the world shifted. What He chose to focus on, and the words he speaks, now flows from a different place.
We also invite you to read Pastor Rick Tidwell’s book: The Main Thing, as he shares his powerful testimony of Jesus speaking to him 26 years ago regarding Love for our neighbor and what Jesus will say to us when we stand before Him, and how the Lord specifically had him open his Bible to Matthew 25:31-46, and said, “This is going to happen one day…”
